Sultan man arrested for armed robbery
December 23, 2017

(LAKE STEVENS, WA.) -- Lake Stevens Police say a man from Sultan has been arrested for an armed robbery that occurred last month in Lake Stevens.

Police say that around midnight on Monday November 27, a man walked into the Qdoba Restaurant and robbed the employees at gunpoint.

The gunman was able to flee the scene and avoid capture by police.

On Thursday, "Lake Stevens Police Department Detectives conducted a search warrant and arrested Jose A. Ayala age 26 (of) Sultan for Robbery 1st Degree and Theft 2," said Lake Stevens Police Commander Jeffrey Beazizo.

Mr. Ayala was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on the above charges.
