(SULTAN, WA.) -- There's some interesting things to see and do this month in the upper Sky Valley.

On tap for Saturday January 16th is a large community RUMMAGE SALE from 9am to 4 pm at the Startup gym in Startup, located at 14315 366th Ave SE, Startup, WA. It's a benefit to support the Startup gym renovation.

Saturday January 23rd is a big BOOK SALE from 8:30 am-5 pm at the Sultan library, 319 Main Street. Stock up on your favorite books and support the Friends of the Library Programs.

On Sat. January 30th it's ART HOUR, 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm at the Sultan Library where you can try your hand at an airbrush or spin some art.

On Saturday February 13th there's old fashioned (really old) SOCK HOP dance at the Startup Gym where there'll also be a silent auction.
