HAVE COFFEE WITH THE MAYOR
September 01, 2010

(SULTAN, WA) -- Do you have a question or two for Sultan’s Mayor? If so you can get in answered this week (or next week) over a cup of coffee on the mayor.

Residents and business owners are invited to join Sultan Mayor Carolyn Eslick for coffee and casual conversation each Friday morning from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the city’s Visitor Information Center located at 320 Main Street.

The “Coffee with the Mayor” program is designed to make elected officials more accessible to residents and business owners in the community and to promote one-on-one communication.

This program allows community members an informal and comfortable forum in which to meet with the Mayor to talk about issues, ask questions, discuss concerns and offer comments or suggestions.

“This is another communication tool,” said Mayor Eslick in a statement. “It’s a chance for our citizens to get to know me and ask questions in an informal setting.” The next meeting will be at the Visitor Information Center on Friday, September 3, 2010.

For more information contact Mayor Eslick at 425-327-2093 or City Administrator, Deborah Knight at 360-793-2231 or e-mail Deborah.knight@ci.sultan.wa.us
