STEVENS PASS SKI RESORT OPENS THURSDAY
November 17, 2009



(STEVENS PASS) -- Skiers and snowboarders throughout the Sky Valley and Snohomish County are getting their gear together for the opening of Stevens Pass Ski resort.

Stevens Pass opens for the season Thursday November 19 , 9am to 4 pm daily. No night operations yet and early season conditions exist. It is recommended that skiers and boarders stay to groomed runs.

The Nordic Center opens December 19th.

Conditions at Stevens Pass as of early Tuesday afternoon: 27 degrees with 6 inches new snow overnight, 10 inches in the past 24 hours for a base total of 43 inches.

You can keep a constant, 24-hr visual on the resort's runs and Stevens Pass itself by using the Sky Valley Chronicle's TRAFFIC CAMS located in top right hand corner of the front page!
