(SNOHOMISH WA.) -- Everett Police say since since several espresso stands were robbed in that city by evidently the same suspect, detectives have investigated the cases and worked to identify a suspect.

The latest development in the case is, on the January 14th, two people saw local news coverage about the robber and his MO and provided information to police that identified a possible male suspect and his vehicle which matched descriptions from several robberies, according to an Everett Police statement.

As detectives gathered evidence, the Columbia Bank in Snohomish, WA was robbed on Tuesday. It was believed the suspect was responsible.

By Tuesday afternoon, "the suspect was arrested and interviewed by detectives where he admitted to robbing the bank and espresso stands. The suspect has been booked into the Snohomish County Jail on multiple counts of robbery," according to the Everett PD statement.

Background on Espresso stand robberies

Since Jan. 4, 2017 there have been three possibly related espresso stand robberies in Everett, according to a statement released recently by the Everett PD.

Two Diedrich Espresso coffee stands in Everett were robbed in a week along with a 13 Buffalos Coffee location on Rucker Avenue.

The suspect in all three cases was described as a white male, in his 20’s to 30’s, thin build, possibly short brown hair, and brown eyes.

The witness reports describe him as having a “scruffy” face or facial hair and “sunken” eyes.

He was seen doing his work wearing a brown hoodie and baseball cap with dark pants and work boots.

In each robbery the man implied he had a gun.
