(SNOHOMISH, WA.) -- The city's plowing and sanding of streets this winter is slated to begin when snow accumulation reaches 2 inches, or sooner according to the judgment of the Public Works staff.
A statement from the city says priority routes will be plowed first, and steep hills will be closed for safety. You can see the full plan by clicking the PDF file at right to open it.
The Snow and Ice Response Plan has been prepared for the purpose of communicating the designated roadways, in priority order, that will receive snow plowing and sanding services during winter snow and ice events.
This Plan also describes sections of roadways that will be closed during winter snow and ice events, and provides a description of plowing and sanding services that will be employed by Public Works.
The plan includes the methods by which roadways will be monitored and Public Works will be alerted to adverse conditions.
