SNOHOMISH MAN ARRESTED IN SEX ABUSE PROBE
January 07, 2012

(REGIONAL) -- A Snohomish man is being held on $1 million dollars bail after being accused of raping, sexually abusing in other ways and photographing at least four young girls, some as young as 2 or 3 years old according to a story broadcast by KOMO-TV Friday.

The report says Enrique D. Sanchez-Leon, who lived at an apartment in the 700 block of Avenue D, is being held at the Snohomish County Jail and that investigators think there could be more victims.

On Wednesday, investigators seized a huge amount of alleged child pornography in Sanchez’s apartment on more than 30 computers and upwards of 50 to 60 hard drives, according the report.

Police say they were alerted to the case when two young girls, now 5 and 8, came forward to detectives in December saying they had been sexually abused for years inside Sanchez’s apartment.

Police say Sanchez admitted to some of the allegations after his arrest, said the report.
