Police say the girls, "Whose ages range from 12 to 8 years-old, told deputies they were walking on a trail near the 600 block of Avenue A around 5:30 p.m. when an unknown adult male allegedly touched one of the girls, then fled the area on foot," said a police statement.

The trail where the incident occurred is about five blocks east of Snohomish High School and between the 600 block of Ave A and the Snohomish Aquatic Center.

The man was described as white, 20-30 years old, 6'00 tall, 170-180 pounds with dark brown hair and wearing a dark red t-shirt, basketball shorts, dark shoes and carrying a backpack.

If you can identify this person or you think you know who the man is, please contact the Snohomish Police Department at 360-568-0888 or SnohomishPD@snoco.org.
