(SNOHOMISH, WA) -- SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: Thursday, August 7th, at 9:38 p.m., Snohomish officers were dispatched to a suspicious priority complaint for a man screaming for help in the 1200 block of First Street.
POLICE BLOTTER: suspicious actvity, DUI, robbery
Upon arrival, the officers could hear the man inside the residence screaming and objects breaking, but when they identified themselves, the man would not respond. The 37-yr old Snohomish man’s mother arrived at the scene and gave officers entry to the residence. The male subject charged at the officers, but they were able to subdue him without injury. He was transported by aid car to the hospital.
DUI: Friday, August 8th, at 8:37 p.m., Snohomish police conducted a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle in the 1700 block of Avenue D. After contact with the driver, it was discovered that the female driver was operating her vehicle with a suspended license.
One the woman was restrained, her vehicle was searched and an open can of beer and a bottle of vodka were located under and behind the driver’s seat. Upon failing a sobriety test, the 26-yr old Woodinville woman was cited for DWLS 3rd and DUI.
ROBBERY: Thursday, August 14th, at approximately 1:24 p.m., Snohomish Police were dispatched to 6th Street and Pine Ave in reference to a Robbery. Dispatch advised a male had taken a purse from a female in the 500 block of Maple Avenue. The elderly woman victim said was putting her grandchildren in their car seats when she saw two males taking her wallet from her purse that was sitting in the front seat of her car.
There were plenty of witnesses and one of them observed two males went running into an apartment at on Garden Court. Two Snohomish males, 18-yrs old and 16-yrs old, were taken into custody. After conducting a search, the officers recovered the missing wallet from the front of the 16-yr old’s pants.
