Human Remains Found Near Snohomish Identified As Missing Woodinville Woman

(SNOHOMISH, WA.) – The human remains found near Downes Road and Fales Road near Snohomish, WA on May 9th of this year have been identified as missing Jamie C. Haggard, 27, of Woodinville, Washington.
“The cause of death is homicidal violence. The manner of death is Homicide,” says the ME’s office.
The Woodinville mother and medical assistant at Overlake Medical Center was reported missing on June 17, 2016 by family members. The disappearance was described as suspicious by law enforcement officials, who presumed she was dead according to published reports.
The Seattle Times reported that twice over the next year, in July 2016 and May 2017, investigators dug up portions of the backyard of her former home in Kenmore, Washington searching for her remains “after receiving tips that she was buried there.”
Nothing was found. The King County Sheriff’s office has an ongoing investation into the murder of Haggard.
When Haggard’s remains were found in May, not far from the Echo Falls Golf Club, nearby was a suitcase and a blanket.
