(SNOHOMISH, WA.) -- Got a garage full of old electronics stuff you'd like to recycle?

Well this month is your opportunity to unload that stuff for free. Is this a great country or what?

Join your friends and neighbors (and possibly a few enemies, depending) on Saturday August 12 for the free electronics recycling gig being held from 11 am to 2 pm at the Snohomish School Disirtct Resource and Service Center.

The center's located at 1601 Avenue D in Snohomish.

So what can you bring to the event? To start you can bring in computer monitors (LCD & plasma), computers and laptops, printers, fax machines and scanners, audio visual gear such as DVD players, stereos, old VHS video tape machines (remember those from the Stone Age?) and much more.

See the complete list in the flyer at upper right. Click to enlarge.

We must report in the spirit of accuracy and full disclosure (after all, we are battled hardened journalists) that this year they will not be accepting battery operated "adult novelty" toys.

Hey, ya gotta draw the line somewhere.
