(SKYKOMISH, WA) -- The historic railroad community of Skykomish in the upper Sky Valley holds its annual Holiday Market in just a few days, on Saturday Nov. 22.
Like last year the Holiday Market will be held in Maloney’s General Store on Railroad Avenue from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
It's a fun event for the whole family and features an array of local vendors with a variety of handmade arts and crafts as well as one-of-a-kind items that are perfect for gift giving during the holiday season. There's also local honey and Eastern Washington apples.
At the market you can combine having a great time with "buying American" for the holidays and supporting local artists and the local economy all at the same time.
Native American Flute Player, Peter Ali, will play from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm sponsored by Skykomish Friends of the Library.
"Peter’s music was a hit last year, and it is delightful to have him back," said local market booster and Skykomish resident Madelle Quiring. "The market will be bright with the vendor tables and colors of the wares and the sound of Peter’s music."
It’s a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon and find that special gift for family members and friends.
