(SKYKOMISH, WA) -- The historic railroad community of Skykomish in the upper Sky Valley holds its annual Holiday Market in just a few days, on Saturday Nov. 21.

Like last year, the Holiday Market will be held in Maloney’s General Store on Railroad Avenue from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

It's a fun event for the whole family and features an array of local vendors with a variety of handmade arts and crafts as well as one-of-a-kind items that are perfect for gift giving during the holiday season. There's also local honey and Eastern Washington apples.

At the market you can combine having a great time with "buying American" for the holidays, supporting local artists and the suporting the local economy.

Local band, "Hidin’ In the Hills" will play festive bluegrass music from 11:45 am  to 1:15 pm and a small group of students from the Skykomish School will sing during the last hour.

It’s a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon and find that special gift for family members and friends.
