REEFER OR CHEST FREEZER NEEDED FOR SKYKOMISH FOOD BANK
July 07, 2012
(MONROE, WA) -- Would your family happen to have an extra refrigerator and/or chest freezer that they would be willing to donate to a great cause in the upper Sky Valley?
The Skykomish Food Bank is vital to the clients it serves. Approximately 30% of the population from Baring eastward up to Stevens Pass uses the food bank each month.
The food bank has been operating without any agency support of any kind and also has been operating without a refrigerator or freezer.
Having those two items would allow the food bank to receive more types of food donations and extend the life of food.
Sky Valley Community Outreach would be happy to collect any donated refrigeration equipment and get it to the Skykomish Food Bank.
If you have a donation you can make please contact Kelly Clifton, founder of Sky Valley Community Outreach at 360-793-4310 or via email at Kelly@SVCommunityOutreach.org
Sky Valley Community Outreach is a not for profit group striving to enrich the lives of family and children living in the Upper Skykomish Valley by offering direct services and referrals for families and children in need.
