(SKYKOMISH, WA) -- Back in May a resident of tiny Skykomish, Washington located in the upper Sky Valley of east Snohomish County along Highway 2 posted this comment on a social media website:
" When influence trading, petty fueds (sic) and charle Browns cowardly fear of a few shingles blowing off a roof lead towards the demolition of the iconic Molly Gibsons hotel the Town government has lost the vision ,honor and forsight (sic) to remain if you believe we will be better off with no town government raise your hand. Disincorporate and Fire the bastards."
And so it goes in historic Skykomish in the ongoing town battle over what to do about the aging, now crumbling and very historic Skykomish Hotel.
