Market hours on Saturday are from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in Depot Park along Railroad Avenue, the main street that runs through Skykomish.
Organizers say there will be a full complement of arts and crafts vendors featuring such hand made items as hand-turned wooden bowls and other implements by award-winning woodcrafter Fred Abeles, exceptional beaded jewelry by Sally Martin and Rustye Etwiler, granite engraved paving stones by Repurposed Stone, hand spun angora yarn by Sage Bryden of Huckleberry Rabbitry, various sewn and crocheted items, crocheted rag rugs, creations from driftwood and burls, photography and much more.
The monthly outdoor markets from May to September in Skykomish have proven to be, as well as a public market, enjoyable social occasions among customers, vendors, and visitors alike in a scenic setting featuring the historic railroad town surrounded by mountains and forests.
If it rains the markets are held inside Maloney's General Store.
And in just a few months shoppers can look forward to the annual and charming Skykomish Holiday Market that takes place inside the historic Maloney’s General Store in Skykomish on Saturday, November 23rd from 11:00 to 3:00 with the same quality vendors.
