| |  THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED IN GUN THEFT IN MONROE February 03, 2012

 (MONROE, WA) -- Monroe Police made quick work of solving a burglary where guns were stolen this week. The guns have been recovered and three people were arrested.
On Wednesday at 4:35 pm Monroe Police officers were dispatched to a report of a burglary that had happened earlier in the day at a home in the 18400 block of Blueberry Lane in Monroe.
When the officers got there they learned that two rifles, several Xbox games, an Xbox controller, and Xbox media storage was taken in the burglary.
The police officers developed information leading to the possible identity of the individuals responsible and a short time later two juvenile suspects were contacted at a residence in Monroe.
One of them admitted he was at the location of the burglary earlier in the day.
The Xbox games and controller were recovered at that residence then a third suspect was contacted and admitted to transporting the stolen rifles to his parent’s house in Sultan.
Officers then went to that residence and recovered the two rifles.
A 12-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy from Monroe were arrested and taken to the Denny Youth Center on charges of Burglary 1st Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary 1st Degree, and Theft of a Firearm.
An adult, Jimmy White, age 27 of Monroe was arrested and charged with Burglary 1 st Degree, Theft of Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Firearm, and Conspiracy to Commit Burglary.
