Monroe Police serve search warrant on suspected drug house October 30, 2016

(MONROE, WA.) -- The Monroe Police Department. with the assistance of the North Sound Metro SWAT team executed a search warrant on a residence in the 500 block of South Lewis Street Friday morning, according to a police statement.
Seventeen people were found in the residence as the warrant was served, five of them were transported to the Snohomish County Jail for booking on the following charges:
51-year-old male of Monroe – Unlawful Use of a Building for Drug Purposes 47-year-old female of Monroe – Unlawful Use of a Building for Drug Purposes 43-year-old male of Sultan – Outstanding Warrant 36-year-old male of Monroe – Outstanding Warrant 43-year-old female of Auburn – Probable Cause, Burglary 2
Monroe Police said the search warrant was the result of an on-going investigation by the Monroe Police Department Pro-Act team "into the selling and use of drugs that is occurring at this residence," according to the police statement.
Officers searching the residence found Methamphetamine, Heroin and a large quantity of drug paraphernalia throughout the house. The investigation is ongoing.
