Medicare open enrollment comes to Sky Valley
Information events will be held in Monroe, Sultan, Snohomish

(MONROE, WA.) -- Senior Services of Snohomish County in conjunction with Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) will be holding FREE Medicare open enrollment and information events this month and in December.
SHIBA is a free, unbiased service of the Office of the Insurance Commissioner.
Events will be held:
Tuesday October 8 at the East County Senior Center in Monroe.
Monday October 28 at Sky Valley Senior Center in Sultan.
And Thursday December 2 at The Snohomish Public Library.
Volunteer counselors will be available to help seniors understand Medicare coverage options for 2017 and compare health and prescription plans so seniors can make informed choices.
Appointments are required. Please call 425-513-1900 to make an appointment. Counselors can also help low income residents determine their eligibility for extra help.
