(MARYSVILLE, WA.) – A 25-year old state corrections officer who works at the Monroe Correctional Complex in Monroe, WA has been arrested after reportedly exposing himself to a young girl.

The Marysville Globe newspaper reported one alleged incident with one girl happened last Tuesday.

The man was arrested and booked into the Marysville jail on suspicion of two counts of Communicating With a Minor For Immoral Purposes and one count of Indecent Exposure, according to the report.

The story said one girl positively identified the man as the one who had exposed himself on Oct. 19 between 2:45 and 3:40 p.m. in a residential neighborhood in east Marysville and another girl identified him as the man who asked her if she wanted to see his genitals.

The report says in both instances the man was inside of a vehicle and the vehicle was the same in both incidents.

Police searched the neighborhoods where each alleged incident occurred and were able to locate surveillance footage of the suspect vehicle and the next day a Marysville school resource officer stopped a vehicle matching the description.

The vehicle also matched the description given by a woman who reported a similar incident in mid-September, according to the report.
