January 14, 2017

Flapjacks will be flapped and stacked high at Senior Community center pancake breakfast.
(MONROE, WA.) -- It's big, it's bad, it's the rolling thunder review of pancake chowdowns.
All the big shots will be there as well as all the big stars. We speak of course of the famous Community Breakfast that'll be held January 21st from 8 am to 10:30 am at the East County Senior Center in Monroe.
The center is located at 276 Sky River Parkway in Monroe (360-794-6359).
Now, you probably know it as "just a pancake breakfast," but au contraire Spunky, it's much more than that.
It’s a fabulously delicious meal of eggs, ham, sausage, pancakes, French toast, coffee, milk, and juice prepared and served by the volunteer crew at the Senior Center.
And the cost for this meal fit for a king? A paltry $5.00 You pay almost that much for a specialty drink at a famous name espresso joint.
And the other really neat thing is, all proceeds benefit the senior center. Now how nice is that?
And if you can't make the breakfast on January 21st, no worries mate. The very same breakfast is held on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Same low price.
Now, get out there and chow down bro and do something good for your community at the same time. That's an order.
