| | INDEX RESIDENTS STRUGGLE WITH NO POWER FOR DAYS ON END January 22, 2012

(INDEX, WA) -- It’s one thing to lose your electricity in a big city. You just drive a few miles away or cross town or go downtown and find a restaurant that’s open and that still has power, enjoy a hot meal then maybe take in a movie nearby or stop in at some all night bistro that has live music.
Go without juice for a while in a small town up in the Cascade mountains known for hard winters, frigid temperatures, freezing rain and mounds of snow in the winter – and no theaters, bistros, restaurants or bars – well THAT is a different animal altogether.
