MODEL RAILROAD SHOW CONTINUES IN MONROE THROUGH SUNDAY
February 07, 2010

(MONROE, WA) -- The second and final day of the United Northwest Model Railroad Club (UNW) show and swap meet is Sunday at the Evergreen Fairgrounds in Monroe.

The annual event is a benefit with proceeds going to the Snohomish County 4-H Foundation.

This year’s show features over 20 operating track layouts. The largest layout is 38 feet by 50 feet.

The show also features clinics where you can learn how model railroads are built along with other clinics such as how to build realistic scenery.

For small kids there’s also a special train shaped bouncy house to play in and there’s a simulator where kids can get the feel of being a real train engineer.
