 GENERAL VALLEY NEWS | |  ALLIED WASTE RELEASES NEW RECYCLE & GARBAGE COLLECTION SCHEDULE FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER January 18, 2012

 (REGIONAL) --- Allied Waste/Republic Services has released the following updated inclement Weather Update regarding recycling/yard waste/garbage collection services for its customers in the Puget Sound Area.
For Wednesday, January 18, 2012
· Bellevue, Seattle, Lynnwood and Kent Offices are Closed Today Due to inclement weather, the Bellevue, Lynnwood, Seattle and Kent offices of Allied Waste/Republic Services are closed on Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Recycle/yard waste/garbage collection will be suspended for today. The Black River Recycling Center & Transfer Station is also closed. Recycle/yard waste/garbage collection will be suspended for today. Our recycle facility at 3rd & Lander (MRF) in Seattle is also closed today but the scale is open. [Kent Division is running only emergency accounts]
· Seattle: Offices and recycle facility are closed but MRF scale is open. Black River Recycling Center & Transfer Station is closed.
· Snohomish County: Lynnwood, Edmonds, Monroe, Lake Stevens, Snohomish, Sultan, Gold Bar, Index and Unincorporated Areas of Snohomish County. We are committed to safety.. During inclement weather, Allied Waste/Republic Services evaluates the weather each day and makes a decision about whether or not to run routes based on public safety and the safety of its drivers.
· If your normal collection day is Wednesday, please be advised that you may put up to double your load out on your next regularly scheduled collection day. This information applies to the following cities and areas: North King County: Bellevue, Mercer Island, North Bend, Snoqualmie, Sammamish, Issaquah, Lake Forest Park, Kenmore/Unincorporated Areas of King County. South King County: Kent, SeaTac, Tukwila, Normandy Park, Covington, Auburn, Renton, Unincorporated Areas of King County Seattle [Offices and recycle facility are closed but MRF scale is open] Snohomish County: Lynnwood, Edmonds, Monroe, Lake Stevens, Snohomish, Sultan, Gold Bar, Index and Unincorporated Areas of Snohomish County.
