CLICK TO OPEN: THE TRUTH about voter purges in this country.
By Rex D. Cain
(NATIONAL) – This is why investigative reporter Greg Palast is rapidly becoming a national treasure.
The folks in America – nasty, extremist, mental midgets with bad intentions - who are desperately doing everything they can to suppress the voting and the votes of minorities and poor people, just hate this guy Palast because he has an annoying habit.
Palast likes to look under rocks and into other dark, musty hiding places. There he finds the most interesting things that frightened, angry, undemocratic little people with small minds are doing in order to steal the right to vote away from millions of Americans.
This is what they do when they have finally figured out the tide is turning in this country and there’s a growing body of Americans who do not want to buy their dog food. Ever.
Check this short Palast interview with one of America’s most infamous voting-rights suppressors, the right wing extremist Kansas Secretary of State (and a man currently running for governor of that dust-bowl state) Kris Kobach.
A man the Wichita Herald described this month in this fashion: “Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach has been on vivid display in federal courtrooms over the past year, and his performance there tells Kansas Republicans all they need to know about his capacity to be the next governor of Kansas. He clearly lacks the competence and character to be elected to higher office.”
Of course he lacks competence and character. Kobach is a pal of and a big supporter of Donald (“Putin's Water Boy”) Trump.
In this short video tweet Palast puts Kobach on the spot about one of Kobach’s voter and voting suppression schemes that Kobach helped create. Here Kobach looks every bit the part of the kid who got caught stealing cookies.
By the way, Palast and other concerned citizens are taking legal action against #Kobach and 26 states where they say mass #Crosscheck purges are conducted. If interested, you can make a tax deductible donation right here .
If you don’t believe that voter suppression efforts in this country constitute a growth industry, then you might want to read this .
There are many frightened people in this nation. Frightened about what a real democratic vote and real democracy will do to their hold on power.
