(SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA.) – The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is looking for witnesses to a hit & run motorcycle crash in Snohomish County this week.
The incident happened Thursday June 7 at about 6:55 am. The WSP says an “erratically driven motorcycle” was driving on the right shoulder of the roadway and exiting from Interstate 5 to State Route 104 when the driver lost control and collided with the guardrail.
“A female passenger on the motorcycle impacted a guardrail post causing serious injuries,” said WSP Trooper Rocky Oliphant in a statement. “The motorcycle slid to a stop on the exit ramp. The unidentified driver of the motorcycle then abandoned the passenger, righted the motorcycle and fled the scene east on SR 104. The passenger was transported by aid toHarborview Medical Center with serious injuries.”
The Washington State Patrol would like to talk with anyone who witnessed the motorcyclist driving prior to the collision or witnessed the actual collision. In addition, they would like to speak with anyone who has information that would help identify the motorcyclist.
Contact Sgt. Marken (360) 654-1141 or the Washington State Patrol communications center (360) 654-1204 with information.
