South Kitsap Man Injured In Shooting January 27, 2018

(PORT ORCHARD, WA.) -- A 28-year-old South Kitsap County man was wounded Friday following a shooting that reportedly occurred in the 3900 block of SE Salmonberry Road, in South Kitsap.
The Kitsap County Sheriff’s office says the man was dropped-off around 2:18 p.m. at the South Kitsap Harrison Urgent Care Clinic in Port Orchard, with two gunshot injuries.
“He subsequently was transported by ambulance to Harrison Medical Center, Bremerton for further evaluation and treatment. His wounds are not considered life-threatening,” said a statement from the sheriff’s office.
Investigators were looking for an adult male driver and an adult female passenger of a white-colored Toyota Prius vehicle that took the wounded man to the urgent care clinic in Port Orchard.
Detectives are attempting to identify the two “Good Samaritans” as they are considered witnesses in this investigation. The two stopped to assist a wounded man and drove him to a medical treatment facility
Kitsap County Sheriff’s patrol deputies and detectives responded to several locations in South Kitsap as the investigation was initiated. The shooting reportedly occurred between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Detectives are continuing the investigation.
