Roll Over Accident South of Longview, WA Kills 2 Adults, 1 Child

(WOODLAND, WA.) – The Washington State Patrol says three Lakewood, Washington residents died Saturday afternoon and three other people were injured in a horrific roll over accident in Cowlitz County.
The accident occurred around 4:30 pm on Interstate 5 about 5 miles north of Woodland, Washington about midway between Woodland and the small community of Kalama, part of the Longview metro area.
The patrol report on the accident says a 2002 gray Toyota Sequoia 4-door was northbound on I-5 near milepost 27.5 when, for reasons unknown, it “left the road to the right” and then “rolled multiple times causing five unrestrained occupants to be ejected” from the vehicle, which eventually came to a stop resting on its top.
The vehicle was totaled. Killed in the accident (deceased at the scene) were three people identified by the state patrol as:
~ Lokeni A. Nuusolia, 65, of Lakewood, Washington, a passenger in the Toyota.
~ Offeria U. Nuusolia, 60, of Lakewood, Washington, a passenger in the Toyota.
~ A 6-year old girl, also from Lakewood and also a passenger in the vehicle.
~ Daryl M. Tuimavave, 35, of Lakewood, WA the driver. Transported to St. John Medical Center
~ A 5-year old boy, also from Lakewood, taken to Randall Children’s Hospital.
~ A 7-year old girl, also from Lakewood and also taken to Randall Children’s Hospital.
The patrol report says drugs and/or alcohol are not suspected as causative agents in the crash. It lists the cause of the crash as “inattention” with charges pending an investigation.
