Young boy shot multiple times at party in Everett
Eyewitnesses "not cooperative" say police

October 29, 2017

(EVERETT, WA.) – Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit of the Everett Police Department are investigating a shooting that badly injured a young boy at a local party.

Just before 12:30 am Saturday officers were dispatched to a residence in the 800 block of 35th Sreet on the report of a shots fired.

Arriving officers found a 15 year-old boy from Everett had been shot multiple times. He was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett for treatment but was later transferred to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition

"Investigating officers believe a large party drew unwanted guests and an altercation occurred," said a police statement. "The 15 year-old was assaulted outside of the residence then multiple shots were fired. The juvenile was injured and the suspects fled the area in a vehicle."

Police say many witnesses at the party "were not cooperative" and at this time no suspects have been identified.

Anyone with information about this incident or knows the suspect is asked to call the Everett Police Department TIP LINE at (425) 257-8450 or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS
