Woman suspected of being involved in deadly October robbery in Everett, arrested
November 04, 2017

Suspect arrested in deadly Everett robbery
(EVERETT, WA.) -- Everett Police said Friday that a woman suspected of being involved in a deadly October 17th robbery in the city has been located and arrested by detectives.

The police statement did not say where the suspect, Laura Johnson, 27, of Marysville was arrested or under what circumstances.

Just after midnight on October 17th, officers responded to the 1600 block of 22nd Street on the report of a robbery with a weapon and shots being fired inside an apartment.

"Arriving officers found one deceased male and the second with a gunshot wound. The deceased male, 54-year-old Darren D. Larson of Everett, had been shot in the back." said an EPD statement.

Detectives were told a man had entered the residence and demanded money and drugs. As the man ran away, Darren Larson was shot.

Prior to Johnson's arrest on a probable cause warrant, police had arrested two other people in connection with the robbery.

Detectives had also been trying to locate a missing 1995 dark green or black Toyota Camry, Washington plate BFY3865.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Everett Police Department TIP LINE at (425) 257-8450 or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS.
