Violent Offender Task Force Takes Stanwood Robbery Suspect Into Custody

(SHORELINE, WA.) -- Authorities say a 31 year-old Stanwood man was arrested around 7 pm Tuesday night without incident by the Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force in connection with at least three robberies being investigated by the Stanwood Police Department.
.......Robbery of a credit union at the 9200 block of 27th St NW (Stanwood) around 5:50 p.m. on January 12, 2018
.......Robbery of a gas station at the 26900 block of 104th Dr NW (Stanwood) around 11:30 p.m. on December 30, 2017
.......Robbery of a gas station at the 26900 block of 104th Dr NW (Stanwood) around 3:30 a.m. on December 28, 2017
A statement from the sheriff's office says the man was booked into the Snohomish County jail on three counts of 1st degree robbery.
Several other area law enforcement agencies, including the Sheriff’s Office, are investigating whether the suspect was involved in similar robberies over the past few weeks.
