(REGIONAL) -- Police in two different jurisdictions in western Washington are looking for shooters who claimed the lives of two people in different communities
The latest deadly shooting was Saturday morning just north of the Tacoma suburb of Lakewood, Washington. About 2:30 am a 45-year old man was shot to death along South 66th Street in the South Tacoma area.
KOMO-TV in Seattle reported police "have few, if any leads to go on" in the man's death and that family members have no idea who would do such a thing. Police have not confirmed the man's name, according to the TV station report.
And Pierce County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a fatal shooting in Auburn on Friday evening at a residence in the 37600 block of 44th Avenue South.
Authorities say two men showed up at the home to visit a woman and a man living there as roommates. One of the visitors and the male roommate were in one room and the woman in another when the woman reportedly heard an argument and then shots fired.
The male roommate who lived at the home fled from the house and the other man, a 27-year old visitor died. Broadcast reports said investigators have identified the 27-year-old shooting suspect but have not yet released the man's name or other information.
