THREE KILLED, ONE INJURED IN SHOOTOUT AT AUBURN SPORTS BAR
March 31, 2013

(AUBURN, WA) -- Three men were shot and killed and a fourth person was reported to be in critical condition after some sort of altercation escalated into a gun fight early Sunday morning outside a sports bar in Auburn.

The Morning News Tribune in Tacoma reported the shooting erupted as patrons of the Sports Page Tavern left just before closing time of 2 am., when an unknown number of people drew handguns and began firing.

The paper reported that three men, all in their mid-20s, were pronounced dead at the scene and a fourth victim was shot numerous times but survived to be picked up by medical responders and transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

No arrests were made at the scene although one person was detained as a witness, according to the report.

The investigation into what happened continues.
