(BURIEN, WA.) – The King County Sheriff’s office says notes found at least two bus stops along International Blvd South in Tukwila stating, “$80-$100 PAID-make some extra money. I pay cash for used girls panties. Females, preteen to early teen. Text me if interested in selling,” led to an arrest of a pedophile suspect.
On Wednesday April 18 King County Sheriff’s Detectives from Metro Transit learned from several anonymous witness’s that a stack of notes were left in a few Metro Bus stops along International Blvd South in the Tukwila area.
The person who left those notes wanted to “pay a large amount of cash to underage females for their underwear, he even left his phone number for contact,” said a sheriff’s office statement. “A Detective made contact with the suspect (42 year old male from Burien) who had agreed to meet with the Detective who he believed was a 14 year old girl.”
The suspect drove to meet with the detective posing as a 14 year old girl, and was arrested. Police say located in the suspect’s vehicle was “a handgun, machete, a large amount of cash, gunny sacks, tarp, hatchet and duct tape.”
The suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of communicating sex abuse of a minor and investigation of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes.
