State Patrol Seeks Witnesses To Injury Hit and Run Collision

(KING COUNTY, WA.) – Washington State Patrol detectives are looking to talk with anyone who may know something about an injury hit & run collision that occurred late last week.

At approximately 6:45pm on Thursday February 8, 2018, the Washington State Patrol (WSP) responded to a report of a collision which involved a vehicle that had rolled over.

The collision occurred westbound on State Route 18 near the Auburn/Black Diamond Road.

The collision occurred when a silver Honda Civic was traveling west on the highway and was run into by a Blue or dark colored SUV that was changing lanes. See photos of the types of vehicles that were involved, at upper right.

The impact caused the Honda to go out of control and roll off of the roadway with the driver sustaining an injury.

Detectives are requesting anyone that may have witnessed this collision or have identifying information on the vehicle that caused the collision then left the scene, to contact Detective Todd Early at (425) 401-7747or by email at todd.early@wsp.wa.gov.
