Sen. Lindsey Graham: If Trump fires Mueller it's the end of Trump's Presidency January 28, 2018

(NATIONAL) – Sen. Lindsey Graham warned on Sunday that should President Trump fire special counsel Robert Mueller that act would effectively end President Trump’s administration.
In an appearance on the ABC News Sunday program “This Week,” Graham said, “I see no evidence that President Trump wants to fire Mr. Mueller now...it’s pretty clear to me that everybody in the White House knows it would be the end of President Trump’s presidency if he fired Mr. Mueller.”
Graham’s comments follow by three days a New York Times report that Trump last June ordered Mueller fired.
According to the Times report, Trump p reportedly cited a handful of items he thought were conflicts of interest for Mueller, the man who's investigating possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.
But White House counsel Donald McGahn, according to the story, threatened to quit instead and that prompted Mr. Trump to back away from his desire to get rid of Mueller.
Last year Sen. Graham introduced a bill to block Mueller from being fired while he’s conducting the probe into how and why certain Russian actors interfered in the U.S. Presidential election. “I’ve got legislation protecting Mr. Mueller, and I’ll be glad to pass it tomorrow,” Graham said Sunday.
