Seattle Police investigate apparent murder of woman in Wallingford
March 13, 2018



(SEATTLE, WA.) -- Seattle Police Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman found inside her Wallingford home Monday morning.

At approximately 9:20 am, North Precinct patrol officers were summoned to a residence in the 1300 block of North 43rd Street. "A friend of the 38-year-old victim came to the residence and discovered the victim inside, apparently deceased. Police and Seattle Fire were called to the scene, but the victim was pronounced dead," said a police statement.

Detectives were called out to the location to begin their investigation and CSI processed the scene.

This remains an active and on-going homicide investigation working in conjunction with the King County Prosecutor’s Office and the King County Medical Examiner. Anyone with information on this incident is urged to contact the Seattle Police Homicide Tip Line at (206) 233-5000.
