PRO GUN RALLY SET FOR OLYMPIA SATURDAY
January 15, 2013
(MONROE, WA) -- This past Sunday hundreds of people associated with or supportive of the pro-gun control group Washington CeaseFire marched from Westlake Park in downtown Seattle to the Seattle Center to send a message to lawmakers to get serious about dealing with firearms designated as assault rifles and high capacity magazines for firearms.
On Saturday Jan. 19 those who are fearful of a government over reaching and attempting to take 2nd amendment rights away from Americans who have committed no crimes, will rally in Olympia in support of strong gun rights and in opposition to those who would weaken those rights.
The pro-gun Olympia rally is being organized by GunsAcross America Washington State and is one of dozens of similar rallies set to take place that day in every state in the country.
Supporters want to send a message to lawmakers that they want no new gun laws that would impact American’s second amendment rights.
They plan to meet at 11:00 a.m. at the Capitol building in Olympia (416 Sid Snyder Avenue SW Olympia, WA 98504) at the Tivoli Fountain with the rally set for noon.
