(SEATTLE, WA.) – Seattle Police officers arrested a man following a stabbing downtown Saturday afternoon.
Witnesses called police to the bus tunnel at 3rd Avenue and Pike Street for a report of a disturbance at 2:15 p.m Saturday and when officers arrived they found a man on the ground with a stab wound in his chest.
Officers provided first aid until Seattle Fire Department medics could take the man to Harborview Medical Center.
Witnesses told officers that two men were having an argument just prior to the stabbing. Police found the suspect blocks away and took him into custody without incident.
The suspect was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of assault.
