Man shot by police in early morning confrontation in King County

(NORMANDY PARK, WA.) – The first news came at about 6:12 am Friday (this) morning from the King County Sheriff’s Office: “Normandy Park Police had an Officer involved shooting at the 21600 BLK 6 AVE S. King County S.O. Major Crimes will investigate per Normandy Park PD request.”
Following a 911 call about a suspicious vehicle in that location in Normandy Park around 5 am this morning, Normandy Park police arrived to investigate and a short time later there was some sort of confrontation between police and a lone suspect.
Shots were fired and the suspect was wounded. His condition was not immediately known.
No officers or innocent bystanders were injured. This is a developing story.
