(RENTON, WA.) – Renton Police are requesting the public’s help in order to locate a suspect in a shooting incident over the weekend at a local bar that left one man in critical condition.
Police say an unidentified man was shot “multiple times outside of a bar in the 200 block of Williams Avenue South in Renton.”
According to a police statement, officers responded to reports of a shooting outside of the William’s Avenue Pub at about 1:15 am Sunday morning. They found the injured man in a parking lot just south of the bar and administered aid until medics arrived and took him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he was listed as being in critical condition.
Police say a preliminary investigation revealed the victim and the “lone suspect were arguing just before the shooting,” but details of what led up the shooting are still unknown.
The suspect was last seen walking northbound away from the area. He was described as a black male in his 20’s, 6 feet tall between 160-170 pounds. The suspect’s hair was in dreadlocks and his hairline may be receding.
He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt.
The Renton Police are asking for public’s help with any information related to the shooting, especially from anyone that was in the bar before, during and after the incident.
