MOTORCYCLE RIDER KILLED IN SEATTLE ACCIDENT

(SEATTLE, WA) -- A motorcycle rider from Fife, Washington was killed in a single vehicle accident late Monday night near downtown Seattle, according to the state patrol.
The patrol says a 2005 Yamaha YZF-RIT motorcycle was traveling on the ramp to southbound Interstate 5 from Mercer Street in Seattle when the rider lost control of the vehicle, and the driver and a passenger were ejected from the bike.
Killed in the accident was the driver identified as Clinton V. Siegmann, 23, of Fife, Washington. Injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle was the passenger identified as Brittany L. Ollar, 24, of Henderson, Nevada.
Both driver and passenger were wearing USDOT compliant helmets. The motorcycle was totaled in the accident.
The state patrol report says the cause of the accident is unknown.
