LOCAL TV STATION TO AIR AMANDA KNOX INTERVIEW

(SEATTLE, WA) -- KING-TV in Seattle, the NBC affiliate for the region will air an exclusive multi-part interview with Seattle woman Amanda Knox this week.

The interview segments, to air during the KING5 News evening telecasts Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday October 23 through 24, will be conducted by an investigative reporter for the station Linda Byron.

The interview is described by the station as the first local interview by a local news organization with Knox since her return from imprisonment in Italy.

Knox, an attractive intelligent young college student from West Seattle became a worldwide news sensation and strong fodder for tabloid TV shows and newspapers around the globe when she was charged and ultimately convicted in Italy of murder, a conviction later overturned on appeal.
