(SEATTLE, WA) -- A Seattle high school football coach has been arrested following accusations he tried to have sex with two young teens, according to a report by KIRO-TV in Seattle.

The report says Kent police, following an investigation that included checking texts on phones, arrested Franklin High School coach Omar Urrutia, 35, after he tried to meet with a 13-year-old girl and her 15-year-old friend for sex.

“Investigators said the 13-year-old girl left her phone at Urrutia’s apartment and borrowed her mom’s phone. Her mom found the disturbing text messages and replied to Urrutia pretending to be her daughter,” said the report which also alleges Urrutia sent sexually oriented text messages to the teen’s mom, who was posing as the teen, claiming he wanted her for sex and had made arrangements to pick up the teens in Renton Monday night.

The mother alerted police who then took over the undercover texting and when Urrutia arrived to pick up the teens, officers arrested him for attempted rape of a child and communicating with a minor for immoral purposes, according to the report here
