KING COUNTY DENTIST SUSPENDED UNTIL UNSANITARY CONDITIONS CLEANED UP
January 14, 2015
(OLYMPIA, WA.) - Non-compliance with sterilization and infection control requirements has led state health officials to indefinitely suspend the license of dentist Kin Cheong So of King County.
So has a dental facility located in the 17200 block of 140th Ave. SE in Renton.
In December of 2014, the Dental Quality Assurance Commission charged So with unprofessional conduct and immediately suspended his license due to charges that he didn’t provide adequate protective barriers, consistently complete spore testing, or properly maintain cleaning solutions, according to a statement released by the Wash State Dept. of Health.
Dr. So's insurance contract was also terminated due to non-compliance with infection control guidelines.
Since that suspension, So has agreed to an indefinite suspension of his license until he passes an infection control inspection and hires a third party cleaning service for his dental office.
