night drivers who use I-5 to get through downtown Seattle should plan
for traffic delays beginning this weekend. WSDOT maintenance
crews will reduce I-5 to a single lane and close multiple ramps

Feb. 10. These closures will allow crews to safely replace
several overhead signs with new signs that have updated messaging and
are easier to see at night.

p.m., crews will begin to reduce northbound I-5 to one
between Northeast 70th Street and North 85th Street. The Northeast
70th Street on-ramp to northbound I-5 and the northbound I-5 off-ramp
to North 85th Street will also close at this time.
