(NATIONAL) – One woman received a hand delivered letter to her home mailbox in Hendersonville, Tennessee. She opened the envelope and found this written on a piece of paper:
“Trump won, you ni**er-loving b**ch. Get your retard kid out of our school.”
It turns out, says ProPublica the award-winning news agency that produces news in the public interest, that sort of fun-for-racists thing - done while invoking Trump's name as part of the fear-factor - kicked into gear after the election of President Donald Trump.
And it's been happening in one way or another – it being expressions of hate toward others – across the country in a, “wave of harassment against Jews, Muslims, LGBT people and racial and ethnic minority groups," says ProPublica.
Who would have thought such a thing possible?
Over 150 reports of “Trump-themed taunts and attacks in 39 states” have occurred over the past eighteen months says ProPublica and in each of those cases the abuser invoked President Trump’s name.
