June 25, 2012

EVERETT, WA) -- Everett Police are investigating a reported home invasion robbery Sunday morning in which one man was shot and wounded.

Police say the incident occurred about 7:00 a.m. in the 2500 block of Walnut Street.

Officers were called to the scene after 9-1-1 calls came in about a man wandering around the neighborhood with a gunshot wound and calling out for help.

Piecing together what happened police discovered the man had been at his home with three other people when two robbers entered the residence and during the robbery the man was shot and ran outside to get help from neighbors.

The suspects fled the scene after the shooting. It is believed they left the area in a vehicle.
