Former Kent Meridian High School employee charged with child rape
November 17, 2017

(KENT, WA.) -- A former Kent Meridian High School employee was charged Thursday with child rape and communication with a minor for immoral purposes for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old student.

KCPQ_TV in Seattle reported that bail for the accused, 33-year old Kristal Gamble was set at $75,000.

The report says arraignment for Gamble, who once was employed as the Main Office receptionist at the school, was set for Nov. 10.

According to the story, prosecutors allege sexual communication and interaction occurred between April and August of this year between a 15-year old boy and the defendant when she worked at the same school the boy attended.

Charging documents allege that what began as text messages escalated to "sexual assault" when the accused performed a sex act on the boy in a park, according to the report which also noted the boy's father found the explicit text messaging on the boy's phone.
