Flood warnings remain on three western Washington rivers until Monday evening October 23, 2017

(NATIONAL) -- The National Weather Service said Monday morning that the Flood Warning continues for the Snohomish River at Snohomish, affecting Snohomish County, the Snoqualmie River near Carnation affecting King County and the Cowlitz River at Randle affecting Lewis County.
The agency says that "hydrologically significant rainfall" has come to an end across the area but several rivers are still running high.
Those rivvers will continue to recede tonight with the exception of the lower reaches of the rivers flowing into Puget Sound, which will crest overnight.
.....The Snohomish River at Snohomish: flood warring in effect from 6 am to Monday evening. At 9 pm Sunday the river was running at 24.4 Feet and flood stage is 25 feet. Minor flooding is forecast for the lowlands not protected by levees and on the old Snohomish - Monroe Highway.
